Puteri Munajjah and Lai Hong Jun leading after 5 rounds at 4th Eastern Asia Youth Chess Championship, Bangkok, Thailand

After 5 rounds, 2 Malaysian player emerge as the leader in 4th Eastern Asia Youth Chess Championship, Bangkok. Puteri Munajjah with 4.5/5 is leading half point ahead of the nearest competitor in a field of 17 players in the U16/U18 Category. Winners will get direct WFM title in her category together with an IM Norm.

Lai Hong Jun with 4.5/5 also leading half point ahead of the nearest contender in a pool of 35 players. Winners will get direct CM title in his category.

We hope all 16 Malaysian players will excel in their journey at 4th Eastern Asia Youth Chess Championship, Bangkok, Thailand.
