Muhammad Noor Azam Mohamad Noor dari UiTM Shah Alam berjaya menebus kekecewaan dalam kategori classical apabila beliau mendapat tempat kedua kerana kalah tipis dlm tie break dengan menjuarai kategori blitz dengan mencatat 9/11 mata. Iwan Ibnu Schani dari UiTM Selangor mengikut rapat di belakang beliau dengan mencatat 8.5/11 mata di ikuti oleh Muhd Rafiquzzaman Abdullah (UiTM Melaka).
