Congratulation to 17 newly rated player from 1st DC Mall Chess Championship

Zhao Chenyu from China scoring 6/7 point and is 3rd in the final ranking (New rating 1497)

Congratulation to the 17 newly rated player who successfully gain their first FIDE Standard rating after participating in the  1st DC Mall Chess Championship U1800 concluded last week.    May this initial rating be your first step towards greater height in your chess journey! The highest scoring unrated player in this event is Zhao Chenyu from China with 6/7 point just half point behind the event champion and another two Malaysian player Abdul Hamid Ahmad Abid and  R. Ashockumar Viswaa with 5.0 point manage to secure 9 & 10th position respectively.

Following the success of our first DC Mall chess competition, we are delighted to bring the good news where DC Mall agree to be the venue sponsor for chess event once  a month. Based on our discussion, we will alternate the Rapid age group and open classical format. Below is the proposed dates with the mall. But please noted that all event is pending approval and we will only apply the approval for the nearest upcoming event only. We advise player to not make any advance travelling/logistic/accomodation arrangement until the event is published and advertised at catur.info.
