Brandon win KKSI IPPTAR 2023 in a highly competitive field

Brandon Tien Sreenivasan seeded 12th manage to emerge victorious in a highly competitive field after securing 6/7 point. He manage to upset the leading Puteri Rifqah Fahada Azhar in the final round with white pieces.

Meanwhile, in U17 category Ahmad Zaeem Zhafran Khairil Aswan from Sekolah Sultan Alam Shah win with 6.5/7. In a recent interview with this genius 14 years old boy, he said he had wins many times even at first he learns playing chess by himself. The tip is he always practice playing chess everyday without missing a day.

In the U12 section 9th seed Zafri Izzat Nashif Zamrul Faizad top the field after scoring 7.5/8. It was an intense competition where four people scored 7/8. This champion from SK Bukit Jelutong had win prizes RM250 cash, trophy and certificate.

For the best school category, two school tied for the title which is SK Setiawangsa and SK Bukit Kemuning 2 with 21 points each but after the first tie breaker. The third place is Srai Taman Keramat with 20.5 points which is almost win the best school category.

Saifizan Afzarin Abdul Latib and Asrul Zaini Zaaba had win for IPPTAR Staff category while Hakim Muizz Mohd Safwan, Muhd Anas Mohd Izwan and Kayyisah Kaysara Khairil Farid had win for IPPTAR Kids category.
